Job responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for 3 teams. Reinforce Agile values and practices. Use coaching and encouragement to continuously improve agility in mission critical environment

  • Be responsible for running Scrum ceremonies

  • Assist the team and product manager with backlog items prioritization. Help to develop user stories.

  • Track iteration status and help to remove impediments

  • Provide status reports to Product, Development, and QA managers

  • Work with Product, Development and QA teams to integrate tools

  • Propose new ideas and processes to improve productivity and effectiveness of the teams

Required skills

  • Working experience in Agile methods with 2 years of Scrum or Kanban software development experience.

  • Must have prior Scrum Master experience. Primary or exclusive responsibility very strongly preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated track record of contributing to the delivery of multiple software products to production using Agile methodologies

  • Working knowledge of the challenges of cloud software development

  • Data-driven analytical skills for measuring and managing delivery

  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence

  • Empathetic but assertive personality

  • Deliverable driven, not research driven

  • Outstanding communication skills in English, verbal and written.

  • Willing to work in a demanding environment with high expectations

Nice to have

  • Experience with product management and/or project management

  • Professional certifications regarding Agile/Scrum and/or Project Management

  • Interest and understanding of Professional Services domain, including resource management, project management, project accounting, timesheet and expense management as well relevant business terms and concepts

  • Working experience with financial software from a development or user perspective.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
