Position objective:

Members of production support team are executing and monitoring the daily routine tasks and regular jobs on various banking applications like Flexcube, RCX, ECS+, Citigateway, GIRO, AMOS, Infociti, etc. based on runsheets/checklists and related procedures. Also monitor application issues reported and resolve them or escalate to L3 support teams. The role is a 5/16 support function in shifts.

Principal responsibilities/ accountabilities:

Monitor application services and related incident queues in problem reporting systems and react accordingly as 1st/2nd level support.

Report and escalate problems as described in the relevant procedures.

Exchange business information with vendors and internal customers. Distribute statements for printing.

Transfer local payments and collections from/to internal accounting systems via clearing.

Execute and monitor daily jobs in banking applications.

Sign all completed daily jobs and administrate, note all errors/problems.

Serve as escalation point for external service providers during off hours.

Qualifications

Required skills:

1-2 year working experience in Information Technology preferably in data processing

Knowledge of technology standards.

Understanding of the following technologies is preferable: Microsoft Products/OS, desktop and servers, networking fundamentals, application architectures, o Clearing systems and general banking systems, knowledge of database servers, i.e. Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.
