Position summary:

Contract Administrator processes and invoices

customer orders in accordance with agreed contracts. Monitors contract and

business terms to mitigate Oracle’s risk.

As a member of Contract Management organization you will:

  • Assist customers, both internal and external, with license contractinterpretation, negotiations and administration of licensingagreements including extensions, new business, invoicing, credit holds,receivable issues and consolidations.

  • Draft and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts.

  • Act as a liaison between consultants, Credit, License, Tax,Business Practices, Revenue accounting, and customers to resolvecontractual and consulting business issues.

  • Validate all aspects of contract packages for accuracy andcompliance with Oracle

  • s Business Practices and Consulting BusinessApprovals/Process while maintaining customer satisfaction andresponsiveness.

  • Submit contract order packages to Revenue accounting for orderprocessing and project funding.

  • Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure customer ordersare processed efficiently.

  • Prepare contract status reports.

  • Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. We need aperson, who completes own role largely independently within definedpolicies and procedures.

To become ContractAdministrator @Oracle you need to have / need to be:

  • Very good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • 2 year experience in draftingstandard contractual documents, in purchasing or equivalent.

  • Ability to workeffectively under time critical deadlines.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks andpriorities, and attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt and acquire new skills quickly

  • Abilityto work in a high pressured, fast moving and challenging environment

  • Organized and detailoriented.

  • Wouldbe a plus having: Good customer focus skills

  • Wouldbe a plus having: Proven experience in handling contractual documents

  • Wouldbe a plus having: Knowledge of Oraclepolicies and procedures desired.

Required qualifications:

  • Verygood English skills

  • TurkishOR Turkish and German proficiency

  • BA/BSdegree, Paralegal Certification or equivalent years of experience.

  • Excellent computer skills (e.g. MS Office package – Outlook, Word,Excel, PowerPoint)

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

The Contracts Administrator job is comprised of either a Deal Specialist or a Deal Manager role. Both work in a multi-cultural environment and cover multiple countries and/or lines of business. The work is fast-paced and seasonal in nature, corresponding with Oracle’s quarterly and annual fiscal cycles.

The Deal Specialist creates, validates and processes contract documentation using Oracle's standard document templates, a set of contract options and in accordance with Oracle's policies and business approvals, in response to requests received from Sales. The Deal Specialist follows defined engagement guidelines to liaise with other Deal Management teams, Finance, Legal, and other groups across Oracle to ensure policy compliance and mitigate corporate risk.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Email, MS Word and Excel. Able to work effectively under time critical deadlines. Works efficiently in ambiguous situations. Excellent customer service skills. Must be fluent in local languages for contracting country. Ability to analyze a situation to understand a customer concern. Typically graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 years experience in contracts, purchasing, or equivalent. BA/BS degree, or equivalent years of experience.
