Microsoft Dynamics 365 team is looking for a UX Designer with a passion for web, tablet and mobile, as well as a strong empathy for our end users. You have a deep understanding of good design principles that enable you to build and champion the creation of desirable user experiences for our Web, Tablet, Phone and Windows client offerings. The UX Designer must have strong visual and interaction design skills, be able to effectively collaborate on a cross-functional team through a collaborative design process to deliver rapid prototypes, user stories, concept sketches, experience storyboards, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, motion design, design research and usability. The ideal candidate possesses courage and conviction, with the ability to help guide the product team through the process of delivering the best user experiences to our customers. The person in this role will need to be able to work closely with other core engineering disciplines, and also with our engineering teams based in other geographies (India, US, and Switzerland). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and desire to ship superior experiences to our customers is a must. To be successful, you will need: Bachelor?s degree or higher in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, or equivalent experience 4+ years related UX design experience in product, company or agency Deep knowledge and application of user-centered philosophies and interaction design best practices Proven experience and working knowledge of information architecture, task-flow models, state-transition diagrams, storyboarding, wire framing, creating design specifications and guidelines Solid visual design capabilities, including composition, layout and information hierarchy, typography and color An in-depth understanding of HTML, and the capabilities of web browsers is essential An ability to work through ambiguity and multiple priorities Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Firework Desired Skills Experience working across platforms - desktop, mobile and tablet Ability to create and assess design solutions based on user research data, analytics, and user goals Problem solving, creative, and communication skills Demonstrated ability and flexibility working cross functionally with other teams (Engineering, Research, Program Management & Marketing) An ability to tell compelling stories that articulate the desired user experience to the project team and stakeholders Self-motivated, directed, and independent Have a passion for quality, innovation, and world-class design Offer active thought leadership in User Experience issues and trends A portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity and proven experience in visual creativity, telling stories, building UI models, generating detailed wire frames, developing prototypes and delivering comprehensive specifications is required.
