The Finance Manager has the full responsibility of all local Business Finance, Accounts Receivables Management as well as all US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting aspects.

She/he will provide direction and leadership to three teams of Finance professionals (Accounting, Business Finance and Credit and Collections).

The incumbent reports to the Finance Director CEE with a strong dotted reporting line to the Cluster Managing Director.

The Finance Manager is a member of the Local Senior Management Team.


  • Overall

  • Proactively participate in managing business performance in line with goals

  • Proactively represent the Finance function within the country; participate in projects, cross-divisional teams, working groups

  • Understand relevant business risks, perform appropriate risk assessment, escalate issues to the Finance Director. Recommend mitigation plans

  • Establish a strong relationship with the various Finance stakeholders within the Region, as well as with outside stakeholders (Auditors, Tax authorities) and local Business and Functional positions

  • Business Finance and Decission support

  • Preparation and presentation of annual Budget and Long Range Plan, Quarterly Forecast

  • Legal Forcast

  • Financial and decision making support to the local country Business team incl. consultations, modeling, approvals

  • Accounting and tax

  • Responsible for all accounting aspects incl. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Fixed Assets

  • Responsible for the monthly US GAAP closing process and the respective reporting

  • Responsible for the annual statutory accounts as well as Tax accounts

  • Statistical, statutory, Tax and VAT filings

  • Transfer Price settings and –reviews

  • Establishment and maintainance of a high level of internal controls in line with local rules and regulations and Policies and procedures as well as Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

  • Management of internal and external Financial, Sox and compliance audits

  • Accounts Receivables Management

  • Management of the Credit and Collections function

  • Proactive management of Collections, DSO and Working Capital targets



University degree with major in Finance or Accounting

US GAAP or IFRS accounting through education or experience


Minimum of 6 years experience in the area of Finance and Accounting with increasing responsibilities

US GAAP, SoX expertise as well as good knowlede of local accounting and tax rules

Experience in US- or other multinational company / Matrix structured Organization
