Position Description

In this role of Associate Implementation Project Manager / Functional Consultant, you will be part of the wider project implementations team, in a dynamic and growing environment, to help our customers start or continue their Concur experience. In this role, you would be dealing with the transactional aspects related to the implementation projects, but the affinity for technology is implied.

As an Associate Implementation Project Manager / Functional Consultant, you would be responsible for the delivery of small-size add-on projects for existing Concur customers. You will handle the configuration of a customer’s specific environment as well as all client functional knowledge transfer. Overall, you would be responsible for managing the project deliverables, by coordinating the internal Concur Resources and client‘s requirements within the defined implementation methodologies and timelines.

The ideal candidate for the Associate Implementation Project Manager / Functional Consultant role is required to be already living in the Czech Republic and to consider a relocation to the Capital City, Prague, or to be already located here.

Ideally, the Associate Implementation Project Manager should start in the new role on the 1st of Jan 2018.


  • Manage the delivery of small-size add-on projects for existing Concur customers within the defined implementation methodologies and timelines – organize project calls, understand and analyze client business requirements providing guidance on optimal configuration options to meet client needs, manage third-party and Concur integrations, train clients and prepare deployment of service to employees

  • Manage the expectations of the client (internal and external) with regard to project objectives, deliverables, timeframes, etc. by understanding the key business drivers and their prioritization

  • Successfully manage high number of small projects running simultaneously, ensuring issues are addressed

  • Enabling additional products and services for Concur customers, like ExpenseIt, TripLink, Audit etc.

  • Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a functional hosted solution design according to client needs and scope of Concur products/services and configure parts of the core system or additional modules as per project scope and business requirements

  • Complete project milestones and follow Business process flows, time tracking and transition for the client to their live environment.

Position Requirements

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Fluency in English; German, French Italian, Spanish speakers would have a considerable advantage

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related client-facing role, such as implementation, or project coordination, or customer support

  • Successful experience working directly with customers, B2B or B2C

  • Excellent, effective verbal and written communication skills, including persuasion and documentation skills

  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage workflow to meet the deadlines

Other Requirements:

  • Open-minded and capable of establishing excellent cooperation with other business partners (internal/external)

  • Willingness to learn and develop further; adaptable to change

  • Experience in Finance or Travel industry (T&E), or customer support; previous experience in ERP or HR is a plus

  • Knowledge of software design theory and current practices or finance cycle is highly appreciated; affinity for technology
