Job Summary

  • To Know and understand the retail environment and shopper insights for eCommerce channel

  • Assess and participate in defining effective Czech and Slovakian eCom GTM model

  • Achievement of sales, volume and SOM targets through excellence in 6P plan execution

  • manages and helps develop the Hill’s eCom customer portfolio in Czech Republic and Slovakia (Direct/Indirect eCommerce Players, Service Providers)

  • Implements the eCom Retail Environment strategy though partnership with Retail Marketing.

  • Drives the development of eCom Shopper Marketing solutions in partnership with Retail Marketing to achieve Brand Equity building objectives.

  • Provide feedback on the environment which allows rapid revision of competitive tactics and bring Key Customers Perspective into Country Commercial Process.

  • Participate in the development of annual business plans for Key Direct and Indirect eCommerce players, implementing in alignment with customer strategies.

  • In co-operation with the line manager, develop sales plans, implementing these to achieve the objectives and targets set for the E-Commerce channel.

  • Assist in effective negotiations with Customers to implement Terms and Conditions aimed at achieving profitable growth for Hill’s and Customers

  • Manage an agreed GTN budget for advertising and promotional support

  • Implement Distribution Policy and comply with Commercial Selling Principles

  • Work in close collaboration with Retail Marketing and drive development and implementation of Shopper Marketing solutions, Coop-Advertising and Digital Marketing Activities in collaboration with eCommerce Partners in order to achieve Brand Equity Building objectives.

  • Participate in Country Commercial Business Planning process

  • Communicate and connect with Customers to provide feedback on Hill’s commercial initiatives and insights on competitors’ activities

  • Monitor the achievement of specified accounts objectives and recommend, prepare and implement plans for remedial action where necessary.

  • Actively engages with key functions (Finance, CS&L, Marketing, PVA) to support business and customer needs.

  • Keep abreast of trends, and Represent Hill’s as the strategic partner of choice in small animal nutrition to Internet Customers

Education/ Experience Requirements

Basic qualifications include:

  • University Degree

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Customer Development/Sales, out of which minimum 1-2 years’ experience of managing Key Accounts (preferably eCommerce and indirect trade experience)

  • Fluency in Local language AND English

Expected Areas of Skills

  • Proven track of successful commercial skills

  • Knowledge of Pet Food Specialty Channels is a plus
