Marketing Manager Biscuits, CZ/SK
Marketing Manager Biscuits, CZ/SK will lead the overall Biscuits category business and marketing agenda for Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Develop the annual category plan and implement marketing programs across a portfolio of global power brands and local heritage brands.
Lead the business agenda including forecast setting; working with sales to develop category leading programs with customers; managing of Gross to Net.
Full P&L responsibility.
Leadership of a team of 6 brand managers.
The role reports to the Category Director Biscuits, NE/CE (based in Zurich).The role is one of 5 direct reports to the Category Director – each of the 5 responsible for a different group of countries across North and Central Europe.
Key stakeholders – as part of the local leadership team for CZ/SK, key partners are the GM for CZ/SK and the Category Planning lead. Key management stakeholders are the GM for CZ/SK/AT/HU hub, the Category Director Biscuits and Financial Controller Biscuits.
A typical day involves the ongoing leadership and management of the biscuits category in CZ/SK – setting plans, agreeing forecasts, delivering marketing activities and working with business partners and stakeholders to deliver the best possible result for the business.
The MM is also responsible for setting and agreeing the longer term strategy for the category, in partnership with the Category Director, MEU Biscuits LT and Biscuits MEU Marketing.
University degree, MBA would be an advantage
Minimum 10 years of FMCG experience, preferably from one of the leading global companies
Experience of managing brand marketing programs
Sales experience is a must have
Understanding of Czech/Slovak market/language would be an advantage but is not a must have
High ability to inspire, challenge and direct commercial teams including those that do not report direct
Adaptability and ability to communicate clearly in a volatile trading environment
The candidate must have gravitas and maturity to support and develop high-performing, ambitious and hard working team
