The Microsoft Dynamics Site Reliability team is looking for talented internet engineers to design, build & operate large scale business oriented services for Microsoft. This position requires strategic thinking & hands-on technical delivery. The ideal candidate is a deep technologist with proven track record building /managing large scalable SaaS applications, creative thinker, problem solver, teacher, & learner. The successful candidate will be at ease leading incident investigations & capable of identifying root cause in a complex, distributed environment.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience on Azure Services like SQL Azure, Compute, IaaS , PaaS , WAAD , VNET, Express Route or AWS equivalents

  • Experience in troubleshooting Live Site issues across the applications

  • Hands‐on technical expertise in large scale systems engineering & complex distributed systems architectures.

  • Experience in web services, virtualization, cloud concepts, REST, JSON, XML, MySQL, PHP, LDAP, & object oriented methodologies is desired

  • Understanding of network routing, load balancing, & Internet transport protocols.

  • Experience managing complex projects, with significant bottom‐line impact.

  • Proven experience in delivering industry-leading technical solutions

  • 4+ years’ experience in large scale internet service design & implementation

  • Experience with continuous delivery & configuration management

  • Demonstrated understanding of instrumentation, monitoring, & deployment design principles & best practices.

  • Strong analytical capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments & projects.

  • Demonstrated passion for customer experience & usability, including successful delivery of customer self‐service tools & automated management/optimization of services.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Partners and customers effectively to mitigate/resolve/preempt issues/outages

  • Influence feature design, architecture, standards & processes to ensure security, performance, operability & scale.

  • Conduct performance analysis/tuning & ensure accurate service capacity planning.

  • Identify gaps in current technology & processes & recommend improvements.

  • Build tools, develop efficient DevOps processes, & contribute to our knowledge base.

  • Participate in on-call rotation duties.

  • Plan & conduct proof of concept projects with new technology & processes.

  • Optimize monitoring & self-healing capabilities.

  • Collaborate at depth with peers in Development & Program Management
