Candidate will be a member of in-country Operations team handling a wide range of Trade Services products such as LGs, LCs, Collection etc.
Existing team consists of 9 Trade Ops Specialists primarily under TTS Trade Ops umbrella
Direct reporting line to local Departmental Head
Flawless operations of Trade Services Unit covering daily processing of handled Trade products, ensuring that all applicable policies, procedures and regulations are adhered to. Knowledge and application of the international valid rules, customs and practice for Letters of Credit, Letters of Guarantee, Counter Guarantees & Standby LCs, Documentary collections and international terms of delivery; application of bill & cheque law; Signature verification for documents provided by clients; credit officer (signature) verification for availment tickets; Close cooperation with TCS as well as with product team to ensure customer satisfaction; Professional consultancy for difficult and more sophisticated business cases.
execution of all trade related activities within established cut off times
maintaining close and efficient communication with TCS, communication with customers and other Citibank departments.
ensure processing of all sets of documents related to trade products received from various sources, direct processing of local products as well as pre-processing of products handled by TCS.
adherence to all internal/external local/global applicable policies and procedures including legal regulations
Qualifications and Competencies
secondary school or university degree
min. 2 yeas in banking operations
Communication skills in Czech language
reliability, flexibility, detailed trade knowledge
ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
attention to detail, creative approach to problem solving, decision making, team work
English knowledge, basic PC & MS Office skills, usage of related corporate software (Flexcube/TRIMS etc)
knowledge of accounting rules
