ON Semiconductor IT PROJECT MANAGER in Roznov pod Radhostem, Czech Republic

As a member of the corporate IT Project Management Office, a successful candidate will be responsible for managing large IT development and deployment projects within the global IT organization of ON Semiconductor.

  • Review of project scope, budget, and schedule for compliance with customer specifications

  • Identification of potential risks to the completion of the project, including resources, costs and systems

  • Managing a multi-cultural team throughout project life cycle to achieve project goals

  • Leading written communications with all project team members, department managers, customers, and IT management throughout the life of the project

  • Adhering to the established project methodologies, standards, tools, processes, policies, and procedures

  • Leading the timely execution of major milestone approvals with customer

  • Quality assurance for tasks and deliverables and the "Lessons Learned" review

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

  • IT work experience with 3 or more years of Project Management experience

  • Demonstrated experience in managing medium/large projects

  • Strong familiarity with Project Management Software, such as Microsoft Project

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, decision making, analytical and organization skills. Must have ability to build effective project teams, motivate others, delegate tasks, and drive timely decisions

  • Effective communication skills, strong written and oral communication skills in English
