Edwards Lifesciences 2nd Level IT Helpdesk Analyst in Czech Republic
Main purpose of the job:
To provide the second-line Global HelpDesk IT support to end-users and business units, to ensure fast and highly effective solution for end-user personally, on the phone or via management tools and provide advanced tasks in various administration systems. The job holder is recognised by the company as a specialist providing the end-user HelpDesk IT support.
Main tasks in the job:
Provide end user IT support in a way, methods and procedures as defined globally or locally by the Company (including regulatory and standardization);
SW installation/uninstallation, distribution and support;
Keep various databases used by 2nd level support up-to date;
Contribute to IT policy development;
Contribute and use Knowledge database;
Develop and share own knowledge;
Cooperate with internal IT stakeholders;
Provide small “how to” trainings to end users where possible;
Keep Team Lead and IT Operation Manager EMEA informed about all non-standard problems and possible solutions used;
Proactively identify any possible problems or issues;
Get the track of IT Landscape;
Investigate root cause, analyse, resolve, track, and escalate various technical problems;
Basic LAN administration
Educationand knowledge requirements:
University /secondary education in IT / IS
Thoroughknowledge of IT technologies
Active English and French
