Edwards Lifesciences Compensation Analyst (Global Operations) in Czech Republic
This position offers you the opportunity to gain experience in compensation working for a global company. We operate in over 35 countries and tailor compensation plans for each location. You will conduct analysis to establish competitive compensation program development and participate in special projects/analyses to identify trends, assess impact, analyze alternatives and recommend actions. We work in a fast paced and dynamic environment where you’ll utilize your advanced skills in MS Excel.
This position will sit with members of the Global Compensation team based in Prague, but will work on projects supporting primarily the European and US regions.
More specifically, your activities will include:
Analyze competitive market survey results to assess the competitiveness of compensation programs, using results to develop analysis and propose alternatives, and contribute to discussions (e.g., job benchmarking, salary structure development, bonus structure evaluation, ad hoc analysis)
Participate in special projects/analyses to identify trends, assess impact, analyze alternatives and recommend action plans based on these analyses
May participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze compensation information (e.g., salary, bonus) to determine company’s competitive position
Identify, recommend and implement continuous process improvements
Provide project support for multiple projects at a time.
What Else You'll Bring to the Table
In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in related field, required
Excellent ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification, preferred
3 years of analytical work experience (e.g., human resources, finance), required
Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and related compensation data management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills
Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing moderate sections of projects
Good presentation and facilitation skills
Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion
Strict attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
