Position Description

We are looking for our Prague office (Czech Republic):Finance Assistant This position provides support to the UK – Fixed Asset Accounting entity.Main responsibilities will cover:

  • Domestic VAT returns

  • Coding of invoices, and allocation of Cost Center and GL accounts.

  • Obtaining relevant Proof of purchase

  • Preparation and reconciliation of Non Domestic VAT returns to invoices

  • Submission of Non Domestic VAT returns via Government Web Portal

  • Reviewing and clearing of bank receipts

  • Weekly Non Domestic VAT review meetings

  • Dealing with queried claims and rejections and interstate VAT returns

We look for:• Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or in a relevant finance technical discipline• 1-2 years of previous experience working in Finance• Previous experience working within or alongside a ‘back office’ shared service environment• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a team environment• Ability to handle multiple priorities• Willingness to support other team members and department initiatives in addition to normal responsibilitiesFLUENT ENGLISH
