IBM Production Control Windows/ Batch Management 2nd level with French in BRNO, Czech Republic

Job Description

This role is responsible for Batch Job Scheduling, Application Library Management and Soft-copy Management. This includes batch stream loads, ad hoc validation against schedule, ad hoc validation against move to production, and Product support (e.g. TWS, Dollar Universe, Control M, Autosys, etc). Batch management is based on Operation system: Windows. Complete support in French language (written and spoken).


• Batch Job Scheduling and management

• Installation and maintenance of applications

• File System management

• Troubleshooting of aborted jobs/failures

• Creations and Implementations of new scripts

• Control of Batch plan

• Problem determination on applications, jobs

• Analysis of failing components to find root cause of the problem

• Performing production checks as required

• Providing operational status as required

• Implementation of changes based on customer requirements


• At least 2 years experience in Windows OS Administration including command line commands

• Ability to work in 3 shift model

• Scripting skills (VBS. KornShell etc)

• Good communication skills, flexibility

• Responsibility and teamwork

• Ability and willingness to learn

• English – Intermediate

• French – Intermediate (written and spoken)

Preferred skills

• Experience with application management welcomed

• Knowledge of $Universe or similar scheduling tools is advantage

• SQL basics

• Networking basics
