IDC Quality Assurance Engineer in Ostrava, Czech Republic
Currently we want to expand our team which is taking care of our own systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about testing, because he is going to oversee implementation of our testing strategy. For us the most important thing is to find someone who fits our team. Our team is full of great people (not only in Ostrava, also in Prague) who are collaborating and giving to our projects real meaning!
There is a lot of different roles in our IT teams such as Product Owner, Technical Leader, QA Engineers, Analyst, Data Harvesting Specialist etc. There is always an opportunity to change your role if you will decide, that only testing is not any longer the way upon which you want to walk!
You will be tasked to review business requirements from a testing perspective before development starts. During development, you will create comprehensive test plans and test cases. You will also execute those plans, coordinate testing with developers and testers if necessary and report the results.
You will also be asked to create automated tests in TestLeft to speed up the process of testing. Experience with creating automated tests is a plus, but if you know basics of programming and you are willing to learn more, we are happy to teach you more.
You will have a chance to use your creativity and influence how the quality assurance process in your team will look.
In addition, you will also interact with end users and spend approximately 15% of your time as a first level support. You will then gather feedback from IDC employees and pass it to the development team.
