_Sales Director_ LOCATION: Czech Republic, Prague GRADE: 14
POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Primary objective of this position is to lead a cross-functional team across business units to increase profitable revenue growth globally; Responsible for constructing and leading a multi-disciplinary team comprised of subject matter experts and pre-sales or solution architects.
Quota-carrying role includes solving business problems, executing winning sales strategies and developing strategic account relationships; Manages relationships from opportunity review through due diligence and final contracting phases.
Incumbent must create a high-performing team in a matrix management environment where team members are motivated to perform at their fullest potential and creatively drive customer solutions.
Required to manage sales and business results in the account as if operating their own business, while acting in the best interest of the company at-large.
Incumbent also serves as a liaison between members of upper management, internal sales support associates and the sales team; Plans and directs all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts.
Manages the team’s sales activity to ensure that the appropriate activities are properly executed to gain customer commitment, build momentum and accelerate the sales cycle; Annual sales objectives include retail solutions, maintenance services annuity and consumables.
Works with sales associates to map out the key players in the account who are involved in the decision making process, and strategize on implementing an appropriate account/opportunity plan utilizing a consultative selling approach.
Ensures that the sales people understand the political relationships between members of the organization and the impact on buying behaviors in order to determine the most appropriate sales approach at each level of the organization.
Develops a competitive sales strategy that anticipates the competitor’s actions and utilizes effective tactics to out maneuver the competition and enable NCR to be better positioned to meet the customer’s objectives. Responsible for cultivating, developing, and reinforcing effective selling techniques that will enable his/her people to grow their business in a profitable and fair manner
Sets sales objectives and proactively identifies coaching opportunities
· Bachelor’s degree
· Min 5 years proven sales track of managing direct sales in IT to banks in Czech Republic
· Proven experience of sales team management
· Proficient Czech and English language skills
· Local job, occasional travels abroad
