Accolade Plymouth Meeting Software Engineer Voice and Chat in Prague, Czech Republic

As a member of Accolade’s product development organization, Software Engineers on our UCC team will build out our contact center platform to support many types of consumers both internal and external. This position involves being part of collaboration and communication group and will focus on building APIs for integration of contact center platform to existing services for our customers and internal partners. Be part of contributing to the design and implementation of a scalable, modern solution using cutting-edge tools, technologies and ideas.

A day in the Life…

  • Work with a small agile team to design and develop platform capabilities in an iterative fashion

  • Work with a tight-knit group of development team members in Plymouth Meeting and Seattle

  • Work tightly with our DevOps teams to deploy and support our software using cloud services and tools such as GitHub, CI, Docker and more

  • Develop applications and services using a combination of Cloud platforms and your own code

What kind of projects would they work on outside of day to day?

  • Creating web services that expose real time and historical data from our contact center platform

  • Working with our product development and mobile teams to offer our communication platform as a service to these groups

  • Identify and execute upon ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams.

Have demonstrated education, skills and experience to be successful in this role.

  • Bc or Engineer in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar degree

  • 5+ years development in enterprise applications as a frontend or backend developer

  • 5+ years working with the application development life-cycle. Experience planning, creating, testing, mocking and deploying software to real production environments and then supporting their continued use

  • 5+ years designing/working with public REST APIs as backend or front end developer

  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban or other Agile methodologies and concepts

  • Experience developing cloud-based applications is a plus

  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: Python

  • Experience with WebRTC is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to be individually productive and with high-quality results

  • Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills are mandatory
