SAP SuccessFactors (SF) is one of the most fastest growing cloud pillars in the Middle and Eastern European region (MEE) and an important contributor to our cloud revenues. To further support our growth ambitions and further increasing market share in all geographies, we are hiring multiple Senior Experts for defining and executing strategic Business Development activities across the entire SAP SuccessFactors Solution portfolio (End-to-End) in close alignment with the SF Sales Leaders and SF Business Developers in the different SAP subsidiaries and SAP cross functional teams. Those experts will report into the Head of SAP SuccessFactors Business Development MEE region.


You are responsible for driving the build of a strong HR message into the market, driving the technology innovation within the HR function linked to the SAP SuccessFactors solution portfolio. Ensuring the sales teams have a funnel to go through supporting our clients in adopting the digital transformation in a smooth transition path. You will be part of working virtually with global and local SuccessFactors marketing and demand generation teams as well as with the solution specialist and take own responsibilities and tasks for the successful execution.

Focused on the strategic direction of SAP to support the digital transformation within and cross the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio to create a strong brand together with our customers.

A well-balanced combination of strong methodology skills, creativity, pragmatism and willingness to execute is essential to successfully add value to the Sales and Business Development teams. This includes customer facing activities as well.

Given the matrix structure, your responsibility will be to:

A). Support the SF Business Developers in the subsidiaries in their own defined business development activities.

B). Identifying, defining, developing and executing sales build strategies and scale initiatives programs, resulting in increased customer curiosity into our SF portfolio and an elevated SAP leadership position.

You will ensure this by:

  • Taking ownership of key activities esp. during the “awareness and (re)consider” phases of the customer lifecycle.

  • Interacting with members of the Sales Teams to ensure a consistent approach is followed and synergies are identified and taken advantage of.

  • Driving SAP SuccessFactors’ credibility.

  • Build comprehensive strategies to get partners strongly engaged in business development activities.

  • In addition, may provide focused, senior, strategic support to sales during the “evaluate and select” phases of the lifecycle, extending the solution expertise of the team, where needed.

  • Act as trusted advisor for customers; both internally and externally, role model SAP’s values.

  • Help customers become best run businesses in their industry.

We will hire multiple candidates to become part of the SF Business Development team in the MEE region.

Those individuals ideally have different profiles and a proven track record in one or more of the focus areas defined below:

Focus Area 1:

Having an in-depth understanding and experience in Value Engineering related tasks, incl. value

proposition, business cases, design thinking technics and other value related approaches and methodology.

Being able to create the “big picture” of a HR transformation roadmap for target accounts.

Focus Area 2:

Having an in-depth understanding and experience in Business Transformation Consulting related tasks,

incl. a solid understanding of HCM processes and/or IT Architecture. Hands-on experience in advisory

services like Cloud transformation, Change Management, and implementation. Experience in IT architecture

incl. hybrid scenarios is a plus.

Focus Area 3:

Having an in-depth understanding and experience in data analytics and benchmarking related tasks for

finding patterns, synergies, cross- and upsell potential.

Focus Area 4:

Having in-depth understanding and experience in evangelizing on SAP’s SuccessFactors Cloud- and

Total Workforce strategy with a heavy emphasis on customer centric engagements. Driving internal and external community build activities across a variety of channels (blogs, social media, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) to increase the market awareness and visibility. You get engaged in strategic customer meetings and events to further drive interest, understanding, adoption and passion for SAP’s SuccessFactors solution portfolio.

Focus Area 5:

Having in-depth understanding and experience in SuccessFactors modules which include Employee Central (EC) and/or Payroll functionality and ideal wise experience (Sales, Presales or Consulting experience) in the

related onPremise application as well (Core HR, Payroll). You get engaged in strategic customer meetings and customer events to further drive interest, provide transparency around the long-term SuccessFactors strategy as well

as the value proposition.

• 5 years’ business development / HCM sales / Business Consultancy experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in program management, preferably in business development

• Experience in HCM cloud products is a plus

• Record of building strong customer relationships and customer contacts (executive access and effective offer positioning)

The position can be filled as part time position.
