Edwards Lifesciences Commercial Operations Analyst in Czech Republic

The Commercial Operations Analyst will lead the modernization of commercial operations in THV Europe in collaboration with the Central Sales Ops Team. The position will report into the Director Business Operations Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) EU and work in close collaboration with the two Commercial Directors of the Business Unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead commercial excellence initiatives:

  • Commercial incentives, reward management and reward protocols

  • Management of field time – reducing non-customer facing, improving time with high potential accounts, etc.

  • Field sizing and Territory balancing; defining & utilizing tools for Territory Planning and sales rep deployment

  • Evaluation of field coverage, commercial share of noise, customers profiling and targeting

  • Management of alternative targets, including referral activities

  • Deployment of Marketing campaigns in the Field

  • Field inventory management (Edwards THV products stored in hospitals based on Consignment contracts)

  • Set-up and run monthly Commercial Operations reviews

  • Proactively propose improvements

  • Liaise with Central Sales Ops Team to implement the changes that require IT support/development and benefit from Central initiatives

Other responsibilities:

  • DRT

  • Set-up management report to follow DRT

  • Run monthly follow up calls with Spanish and Italian teams

  • Coordinate production of monthly rELT presentation for the VP THV EU

  • Perform profitability analysis by country & customer and issue recommendations




  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred

  • Fluent English

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Ability to deal in a multicultural environment and interface with various stakeholders

  • Personal drive, positive attitude, team player

  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience in sales, sales management, commercial management, sales force excellence or commercial operations preferred

  • Experience in consulting preferred

  • Knowledge of healthcare sector preferred
