Edwards Lifesciences Learning & Development Manager in Czech Republic
- The Manager of Learning and Development, designs and delivers programs offered globally through Talent Management & Learning. This role plays an integral part in managing the quality of professional development being offered globally throughout Edwards. Additionally, this role significantly promotes and increases the global connection with our learning partners through the marketing and partnering of delivery learning strategies.
Essential job functions:
Facilitate through multiple delivery modalities, courses offered within the ASPIRE catalog
Consult and provide intact team training solutions upon request by the business
Partner and provide additional support with LD, TM, GTA and HRBPs for logistics and execution of all leadership and learning programs.
Able to provide performance coaching through assessment tools tied to IDPs
CAPACITY BUILDING (20%)
Establish processes and methodologies that can be leveraged globally
Build global relationships to ensure alignment in scaling learning opportunities and professional development. (e.g. leadership learning, professional development solutions for all employees and managers)
Provide support/insights to HR counterparts on professional development. Recommend and research technology that will provide a broader platform for learning and development.
Plan communication strategies that will market and promote offerings. Partner with Edwards University and TM in the marketing of all leadership development programs.
Create sustainable learning strategies that have significant impact that meet the business needs just in time.
Provide research, reports, metrics and insights for continuous improvement
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Ability to travel 35%.
BS or BA degree in a business-related field or Master’s degree
Minimum 7 years professional experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Learning and Development.
Experience working in an international environment.
Excellent stand-up facilitation skills.
A passion for learning with a focus on business impact.
Strong project management skills.
Strong Microsoft office and virtual platform skills.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, including excellent judgment about people, and ability to communicate effectively in a wide variety of contexts.
Excellent ability to develop effective professional relationships with peers, leaders, executives, cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
Ability to work autonomously and thrive in an environment of ambiguity and change.
Ability to think creatively and to articulate a vision and operational priorities across the organization.
